HNI is seeking an Account Executive to be accountable for retaining and expanding client relationships, demonstrating expertise as an insurance advisor, and facilitating the sales cycle of identified opportunities to achieve sales goals. This position requires a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for:
- Assisting our Sales Professionals in writing new business by collaborating throughout the sales processes and/or accompany on sales appointments
- Creating a renewal strategy and ensuring that it is successfully executed by the service team
- Providing leadership to service teams when identifying and solving complex service issues
Successful candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field of study
- Minimum 5 years experience within a related industry and a current Michigan P&C Insurance License
- Strong communication skills
- High comfort level working in an electronic environment with solid knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to relate to customers and carriers in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service and follow through
- Personal motivation and drive to be a proactive partner to our customers and our service teams
- Ability to work within a collaborative and innovative environment
