At HNI Michigan, Jim has the dual role of maintaining client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities. Jim’s goal every day is making sure our clients walk away “wowed” with sustainable improvements that drive profitability. Creative solutions and collaboration with his team is how he gets it done.
Although he was the class clown in high school, Jim is serious about helping our clients better manage their risk. He has over 15 years of experience working with domestic and international companies, specializing in the manufacturing, food processing and retail industries.
Jim graduated with a B.A. in Materials and Logisitcs Management from Michigan State University. He’s a loud and proud Spartans fan…with potential to butt heads with the Badger and Wolverine fans in the company. He’s also a Licensed insurance Counselor, a Certified Insurance Counselor, a Certified Risk Manager, has a P&C license, and graduated from the Hartford School of Insurance.
Skiing, golfing, boating...basically anywhere outside is where you'll find Jim outside of HNI. His two teenage daughters Kelsey and Kendall still think he's cool and join him in partaking in these activites. (Ask him for his secret....).
