Shortly after finishing his degree at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Brian joined HNI and has never looked back. He has spent nearly 20 years with the company and is now the spearhead of our efforts in the construction and manufacturing industries. His years of experience working with companies in these industries is invaluable to the team.
Although he can sit in a tree all day waiting for whitetail deer to come along, he gets antsy sitting in meetings over a hour. His "sportsman" style spills over to his work, and he's known to propose spontaneous sales contests to get the team moving.
What really makes Brian get out bed in the morning is that moment when he's able to help clients realize the power to control the cost of their insurance is largely in their hands. He finds there's nothing like empowering clients to manage risk on their own terms, rather than letting risk control them and their business decisions.
Outside the office, Brian can be found coaching his kids' sports or unwinding with his wife and a Spotted Cow by his pool.
