Chris doesn’t just talk the talk – our truck niche leader knows the transportation industry inside and out.
Prior to entering the insurance world, Chris worked as an operations manager at Ryder Dedicated Logistics and as dispatch/dock supervisor at Carolina Freight. In these roles, he dealt with challenges such as hauling foodstuffs, flowers, and medical waste products. His experience provides a wealth of insight that heavily influences our approach to the transportation industry.
When asked what makes him most proud of HNI, he cites the professional reputation our employees have cultivated in the marketplace. Chris takes pride in the fact that we are known in the industry as honest, ethical, and committed to doing what is right for our clients no matter what. When he's not in the office, you might find Chris coaching one of his four kids' sports teams. He loves coaching youth baseball and has coached several other sports as well. Chris is also an active member of the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association and serves on the legislative committee. He’s been involved with lobbying efforts for the group in both in Madison and Washington D.C.
