Jim has been with HNI for over 20 years. As a small business owner, his duties change from one moment to the next. He goes from creating the budget to changing a light bulb to handling a claim emergency. Luckily his time at the ever changing UW-Madison prepared him to adapt well to change.
Jim loves to compete, whether in the insurance world or in a game of foosball at the local pub, he always brings his “A” game. As CFO, he deals with numbers on a regular basis, but the real rewards of the job come from meeting and working with such a broad array of people.
From underwriters to employees to executives of business small and large, Jim believes the connections you make when you help them grow are priceless.
If Jim could have one wish (other than world peace), it would be that his 4 kids would listen to him the first time he tells them something. Jim’s wife wishes he would do the same for her.
