Randy is responsible for the profitable growth and strategic direction of HNI Michigan, as well as the servicing of his clients. Randy has been in the insurance agency business since 1984 and specializes in Food Processing, Real Estate, Manufacturing and Construction.
A day in the life of Randy is a little like an episode of the show “How Stuff Works.” He enjoys going to many different types of companies and learning their business operations inside and out. How food gets to our tables, how cities, towns and communities are built, how automobiles are produced…learning these things is what makes Randy love his job.
Quality companies and individuals consistently face risks and obstacles to overcome. Randy uses creativity, collaboration and just plain old hard work to bring our customers solutions to these wicked problems.
Randy is a Certified Insurance Counselor, a Certified Risk Manager, and he maintains insurance licenses in many states (as well as a Surplus Lines License). Randy is a member of the Michigan Food Processors Association, the Property Management Association, the Independent Insurance Agents of America, and he also serves as a Board Member of the Ferris State University Foundation Board.
