EXPERIENCE
Bill is the President and Managing Principal of HNI Truck Group, LLC in Inverness, Illinois.
Bill began his career in insurance in 1984 with a large national insurance broker, followed by some time with two specialty truck insurers. In 1989, Bill formed Transportation Risk Management Services (TRMS) in partnership with Assurance Agency, Inc. He served as the President of TRMS and the CEO of Assurance Agency prior to selling TRMS to Aon Corporation in 1995, at which point he created Aon Truck Group. Bill served as President & CEO of Aon Truck Group for 10 years.
While with Aon, Bill spearheaded the development of Aon Truck Group into the largest provider of insurance and risk management services to the trucking industry through utilizing the distribution network of Aon and through the acquisition of specialized truck insurance brokers located throughout the country.
In 2005, working in partnership with HNI Risk Services, Bill set up HNI Truck Group and serves as President and Managing Principal.
Bill received an Undergraduate Degree in Economics & Psychology from Illinois State University and a Master's degree in business from Lake Forest College Graduate School of Management.
