WEBINAR: The New Math of Health Care Reform [Part 1 of the HCR Series]

Health care reform involves a lot of “new math” to determine which portions of the law apply to whom. A lot of important decisions hinge on how many employees your company has and the numbers of hours they work.  But counting heads and adding up timesheets would just be too easy for health care reform, now wouldn’t it?

This webinar will cover the calculations for full time equivalents for the purposes of pay or play as well as which employees you’ll be required to offer coverage to based on their work schedules.  Determining this is particularly tricky (and important) for companies with seasonal employees, non-traditional work schedules, and contractors.

After reviewing these calculations and some example, we’ll talk through some strategies for adjusting staffing and scheduling in 2013 to set your company up well for the changes going into effect in 2014.  What you're doing now will have a major impact on your plan costs and the penalties you may be assessed next year!
